Karl Wallenfels (+ 13 May 1943)

On 13 May 1943, Uffz Karl Wallenfels 3./JGr. Ost, was killed in the crash of his FW190A-2 in Verfeil near Toulouse (SW France) after an engine fire.

He tried to bail out but his parachute got caught in the aircraft tail;

Anybody has some info about him, or about this event ?

Thanks in advance.

GC
