Gelbe 1 on nose. Most probably taken during "300"th party, in August 1941. Should be an E-7, WNr.1326. Right? Regards, Franck.

Franck,
Do you know of any photo showing von K's a/c number and/or scoreboard at any time during 1940? I'm aware of the photo showing him in the cockpit circa the beginning of the W/FC, but there is no a/c ID info in that photo. Do you know anything that I don't about his 1940 a/c? I'd consider doing a color profile of his 1940 a/c for the EoE research project if I could find the necessary reference material. Regards, Larry Hickey EoE Project Coordinator

Hi Larry,
The only planes I know are from the Russian and Sicily (Gelbe 5) period. Nothing about 2./JG 1, 8./JG 27 and 9./JG 27 (September 1940 when he was put leader of 9 Staffel). I'm sorry Larry, I can't help you. Regards, Franck.
