Pilot .... 496th FTG Goxhill

Hi, could someone kindly put a name to this pilot?

I believe he was killed whilst training with the 496th FTG at Goxhill.
Many thanks

Re: Pilot .... 496th FTG Goxhill

Thanks for posting,
I only have the aircraft type, being a P51, I wish I had more to go on

I have some parts which were recovered from a crash site in the Goxhill area, I was told the aircraft was from the 496th FTG, unfortunately no name or date, just the photo to go on.

Thanks

Flyer ,
Just a FYI - The 555th Fighter Training Squadron , 496th FTG ,
was the only FTS assigned P-51s for Training.

Re: Pilot .... 496th FTG Goxhill

Thanks all
It would seem that the identity of both pilot & a/c has to be one of the above losses (previous post) as i have it on good authority that the aircraft was without doubt lost whilst with the 496th FTG.
Im going to have search through my files, as i may have more details to hand that could whittle down the list even further.
thanks guys
