Wellington recoverd at Zierikzee
Did someone know about a Vickers Wellington unloaded from a Barge in Zierikzee/NL ?
I believe it happend summer 1940 or 1941, the personal belongs to a small minesweeping vessel AT 5. Sadly no date is given. Khorat Last edited by Khorat; 11th January 2013 at 21:24. |

I'd suggest you contact the good people of www.wingstovictory.nl This website describes in very much detail the airwar in/over the province of Zeeland, Netherlands, where Zierikzee is located and it maintains a good database. Several Wellington losses can be found in 1940/41. Reports are in a mix of Dutch, German (KTB's) and English. Regards, Leendert |
