Jochen Prien is on a distinguished road
looking for an airfield

Gentlemen,

on August 4th, 1943, I./JG 54 reported the damage to three Fw 190s in a forced landing and a ground collision respectively at a location given as PlQu. 35 Ost/546 which was somewhere northwest of Orel ( Orjol ). Can anybody out there enlighten me and give this place a name ?

Many thanks in advance and

kind regards

Jochen Prien
