Hi Ed,

Good to wake up on Sunday and to have a bit of a challenge to tackle;-))

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=261164205787He 219 wreck with on the far left the pityful remains of a Bf 109... This shot is part from a serie of seven pics which, thanks to Tomas Prusa over on LEMB, location might be Halle: http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...opic=17427&hl=
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=261164206488 Fw 190 F-8, probably depicted in Halle (see above comment).

Among other pics from this serie, you have;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-VIN...item3cce9982da Si 104 Sh? and Bf 109 tail unit in the background
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-VIN...tem3a7e100aaa: Ju 87 D and tail unit of He 219 "1L+MK", documented to be found in Halle.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-ORIGINA...tem3a7e14ee8f: He 111 H "BB+G?".

It's an H-1, not H-6, and it belonged to KG 53.

Re: Photo 2-2-13

Wrecks, wrecks and wrecks....

When you can look at this excellent shot of a Ca.113 here
http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI....m=300856030497

Although I must say that the constant confusion of Battles as French fighters are always a bit amusing...., although there was nothing amusing to be in one during May 1940!

Thanks Ed, nice find of the Ca.113!!!

Cheers
Stig

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Me-109-mit-St...item3a7e298c6c

BF 109 F of JG5 (probably 6. but possibly 5.)
Note the spark plug cooler applied to the F, ala Ruddi Mullers 10073. Suppose it could even be his machine. although from the photos in 'Luftwaffe Fighters and Fighter Bombers over the Far North', suggest the oil cool colour should be sandgelb.
