Photo required Ltn KarlHeinz Brandes

I'm doing some research in the fate of Lancaster R5679 which was lost over Denmark 25th September 1942, shot down by Ltn Karl-Heinz Brandes. I would love to have photograph of this pilot so I can include in my write up of the fate of this aircraft.

Re: Photo required Ltn KarlHeinz Brandes

Thank Koursk94
There is a ceremony on the 25th May in the village of Gronhoj to the crew of R5679 I have been writing up this aircraft's fate and getting background information of the crew one of which I was related to.

Kind Regards

Re: Photo required Ltn KarlHeinz Brandes

Hi Koursk94
Unfortunately it is the wrong pilot, if no one has a picture of this pilot any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ltn Karl-Heinz Brandes night fighter pilot based in Denmark 7 NJG 2 he lost his life on 15th May 1943 near Nissum Denmark flying a Junker 88 C6. Rank at death Oberleutnant. He is credited with shooting down Lancaster R5679 and damaging R5724 on the night of 24/25th September 1942. I would be very interested what type he was flying that night.
