VVS KBF 73rd BAP Air Raid on 7/13/41

Hello:

I would like to get a little bit more information on this raid. According to information obtained from information located at the bottom of this link: http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/ar-2/history.html which states,

"On July 13, 11 Ar-2 of 73BAP then based in Tallinn struck the German convoy 10 miles north the Ust-Dvinsk (the fortress near Riga in the mouth of the Daugava, in Latvia). 2 attempts were made, on 7:37 and 11:37."

I was wondering if this convoy were ships or vehicles? Also, if there were any losses, were they do to Luftwaffe aircraft or from flak? Any other information on this raid would be appreciated as well.

Thank you in advance.

It was a naval convoy of German supply ships heading in to Riga. There were no VVS losses.

You can find an account of the action as well as others concerning 73 SBAP VMF at:

Just use google translate if you don't read Russian.
