Rescued After 13 Days in Dingy

The Karl Born book 'Rettung' tells of the rescue of a He111 pilot Ofw Klotz after 13 days in his dingy. The Heinkel ditched off the English east coast but a search failed. Then 13 days later a Wekusta Ju88 reported a dingy 35 miles off Borkum. A rescue He59 DB+MV crew of Ltn Vertens found the dinghy and picked up Klotz as the sole survivor, as the next section refers to the winter of 1939/40 I assume this may have been a 1939 incident. Is anymore known about this incident Klotz's unit, aircraft and crew details etc.
