Airfield ID?

Can someone identify the airfield in this aerial photo: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-US-Air-...#ht_170wt_1141 ?

Photographed on 18 April 1945 by 14th PRS, USAAF...

Regards,
Christian

Re: Airfield ID?

This sortie is not mentioned in "Eyes of the Eight".
Cannot check at the moment in other sources.

Re: Airfield ID?

Hello Christian

I recognized this one as Nordholz due to my He219 Research Project.

All the best, Marcel / Venlo

Hi Marcel,

thanks a lot, you are correct! And I was already afraid this one would remain a mystery

Re: Airfield ID?

Hello Christian,

These aerial photographs of Nordholz are most interesting because the one and only He219 found there after VE-Day should already be on Nordholz A/F and perhaps visible on the photos without connotations...

All the best, Marcel
