23.09.44: Junkers Ju 88 crashed near Kjevik, Norway

Today I was at a wreckage site near Kjevik, Kristiansand. Many parts were still visible, among them a large part of the wing. I heard from the locals that the plane had crashed in the latter half of the war, and as far as I know this is the only wreckage site from a Junkers Ju 88 near Kjevik.

The plane is supposed to have taken off and heading north, but a few minutes after takeoff the crew supposedly reported on engine failure and tried to get back to the airfield. Unfortunately for them they were not high enough, so they ultimately hit pine trees and rock, killing the entire crew and scattering debris over a large area.

Looking at this page (http://www.luftwaffe.no/SIG/Losses/tap43.html) I get an entry that I think must be the one:

"Date: 23.09.44 Unit: 1.(F)/22 Location: By Kjevik Incident: Crash Aircraft: Ju 88"

Does anyone have more details? Names of the crew and maybe WNr?

The unit must be Aufklärungsgruppe 22, Staffel 1. It was based in Kristiansand (Kjevik) on the time: "Kristiansand, 7.44 - 12.44"

Thank you! Do you coincidentally have the names of the remaining crew members? May I also ask where you found this info?

I made a little video on Youtube from the crash site.

Some of the parts should be identifiable. The object at 0:00 is maybe a part of the radiator? At 0:40 is the propellar hub, and some sort of electrical socket beside it, and finally a part of the wing.

There were also some lumps of molten aluminum, testifying of the fire. (The aircraft must have had almost full tanks.)
