Der Luftkrieg in Europa Volumes 1 and 2 by Ulf Balke. History of KG 2 'Holzhammer' Geschwader. ISBN 3-7637-5882-8.

A very nice pair of books, well worth having if you can find them.

There is also 'Chronik Kampgeschwader 53' by Heinz Kiehl. Not having a copy I can't say how good it is, but it's available.

Note that Schiffer will soon be publishing an English translation of Kiehl's unit history of KG53. According to Amazon, it'll be available late September.
