9 Feb 43: (Ost) - Ju 86 from 1.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. 100, based at Smolensk/North, believed accidentally shot down by a German fighter near Vyazma, 100%, Oblt. Kurt Heider and Oblt. Alfred Löhr both killed.

Matti and several others will have more details. I don't keep the complete loss records.

Re: Oblt Alfred LOHR 1.(F)/100 KiA 9/2/43

I have from NVM:
1943-02-09, 1.(F)/100, Ju 86R-1, (86)5135, T5+SM, Derewanschtschiki, westlich Wjasma, Absturz, vermutlich eigener Jägerbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Olt Heitner, Kurt, +
Beobachter Olt Löhr, Alfred, +
GQM gives WNr 5153 and I cannot be sure, which one is correct. Also in two other NVMs pilot's name is Heitner, not Heidner.

Many thanks, guys.

Much appreciated.

I don't expect we know which German fighter unit was responsible?

Cheers
