Any Information on this FW 190
This picture is from my father's collection.
All I know is that it was taken somewhere in Germany at the end of the war. My dad was a mechanic with RCAF 403 Squadron. The caption on the back just says "Captured Jerry Aircraft". Cheers Kickinghorse |

There is a Fw190 F8 that was captured at an assembly line at Travemunde, Germany. The RAF flew her from a base in Reinsehlen, Germany in May 1945. Markings and cam scheme seem correct...but there was no werk number known...

There's a good chance this is the captured FW 190 at Reinsehlen, Germany in May 1945.
My dad's journal states the RCAF 403 Wolf Squadron was operational at Base 154, Soldau Germany fro April 26 to July 7, 1945. Here's another picture of the 190. Cheers Kickinghorse |
