457 Sq RAAF Spitfire Mk8 spinner color

Does any one out there know when 457 Squadron RAAF started painting the spinners of their Mk8 Spitfires red?

I have seen several photos of Mk8s with red spinners prior to the application of the Grey Nurse shark mouth but it is difficult to tell whether the photo was taken in early, mid or late 1944.

Thanks,

Troy White
