LaGG-3 markings for Nikolai Skomorokhov

Hi. Can anyone help me with markings for Skomorokhov's LaGG-3? I believe he flew this a/c late in 1942 and early in 1943.
If not, does anyone have any examples of this aircraft from his unit? He apparently served in 164IAP and 31IAP.
Thanks

There is a LaGG-3 on his page, but it was NOT necessarily his own plane. 295 IAD regiments had a white lightning as general division marking on the fuselages, so either it was still not applied here, or it shows a different plane:

Re: LaGG-3 markings for Nikolai Skomorokhov

Hello HGabor. I have seen some of your posts and am in awe of the information you have available to you and your knowledge of the subject.
I have seen the page you mention and, like you, suspect the LaGG picture is just a generic one, not at all related to Skomorokhov or his units.
Most pictures I have seen of LaGGs purporting to be from late 1942 and early 1943 have Russian stars with either no border or a black border. I thought the white border came later, and as N.S. was already in a La-5 by March 1943, his LaGG(s) would have had the earlier style markings.
But I am far from expert at this, so any advice here would be appreciated.
Thanks

In Skomorokhov's book Boem zhivet istrebitel' there is a photo of him standing next to his fighter which has the white lightning streak and a number of victory stars on the fuselage. The photo is dated 1943.
