P/O Denby’s crewmember on the night 27/28 Sept 40
Hi,
On the night 27/28 September P/O Denby, No.600 Sqn claimed at least one probably destroyed enemy aircraft. According to the ORB the crewmembers was Sgts Whitwell (air gunner RNZAF) and Holland (I assume he was radar operator). I was surprised when I read in Gentlemen in Blue: 600 Sqn by Hans Onderwater that the crew members were Sgts Canham and Moulton. Is there any other document that can verify the names of the crew members? I have a combat report but only the name of the pilot is mentioned. Thanks in advance, Peter
