Willi Birr (flight engineer) killed 9-Aug-1941 in a crash at Ain el Gazala And Don, yes, Stechmann: http://www.ebay.de/itm/B-TOP-Foto-ME.../201169073735? The Bf 109F-2 of 9./JG 3, “gelbe 3” of Fw. Hans Stechmann MAY be WNr.8316, damaged 55% (pilot error) 29.August 1941 at Belaja-Zerkow. Stechmann had made his 33. claim on 23.August. I'd tried posting these earlier today, but there was some sort of difficulty. Sometimes the electrons are moody, I guess. GRM
