Unknown German Head Armour Plating
This is an odd one. Came with a large lot of German items I grabbed recently. Any thoughts? The square in the middle appears to be the remains of a padded headrest.

This piece looks good on a back plate of a seat, and could be the seat of a bomber. Friendly.
