Paris.

If I may I would like to reach out to our French members and wish them and their country the best. We are praying for you. Longue vie à la France!

Dear All,

I echo Chuck's comments. What is the world coming to? My condolences to our French brethren.

Re: Paris.

Who is next? I still remember Theo van Gogh who was murdered in Amsterdam by a Muslim Terrorist because he made a critical film about moslims.
I dont think it will stop here.
Be careful but not hate-full.

Yes, agreed. At this stage we do not want enraged mobs going into the Muslim housing developments in the cities, dragging the occupants into the streets and butchering them. Unlike ISIS, these are not our values and no sane Westerner would support such behavior. But at some point the Europeans, who are now on the front line, are going to have to say, "Enough!", get tough and start doing something about it because until they do it is going to happen again and again. My country, the United States of America, can no longer stand alone and guarantee the safety of Europe. We are borderline broke, sick of the constant fighting and faced with our own problems at home. Europe's typical contribution of a token battalion or two here and a token squadron or two there isn't going to suffice anymore. Saddle up, lock and load and move out, Europe! If you don't, your children and grandchildren will be Muslims living in a Caliphate.

L.

Re: Paris.

The politics are complex and best avoided here but I wholeheartedly agree with other members that our thoughts are with our French friends at this terrible time. You are not alone in this.
