The two Bf-109 k-4 at Neubiberg in May 1945

Hello,

Two Bf-109 K4 were at Neubiberg in May 1945 from JG52.

One had the last tree digit number 215 painted on the rear fuselage and wore a Black chevron with 1. And maybe the Wnr 332215 or 334215 with a wheel tail door opened and Without wheel doors under the wings.

The other two had a double chevron or maybe a triangle with a chevron, and had the weel doors under the wings.

Wich plane was used by Maj Wilhelm Batz ? And who used the other ?

Please do you have more informations about these two planes ?

Thank you very much,

Best regards,

Lumabe.

Re: The two Bf-109 k-4 at Neubiberg in May 1945

Hi there Lumabe,

I can't add anything else, unfortunately... To my understanding, Batz's machine is without any W.Nr. guess, whilst the second K-4 is probably W.Nr. 332 215, owing to its white underlined underwing Balkenkreuze (information kindly provided by Anderrs Hjørtsberg).

Cheers
Marc

Re: The two Bf-109 k-4 at Neubiberg in May 1945

Hello,

I found the pilot's names of the Stab II/JG52 at Neubiberg :

Bf109 K-4 WNr ?, black << ( with wheels covers under the wings ) : Ht Wiilhelm Batz Gruppen kommander
Bf109 K-4 WNr...215, black <1 ( without wheels covers under the wings ) : Lt Willy Van de Kamp
Bf109 G-10 WNr 611155, black <2 : Uffz Anton Kellmayer
Bf109 G-10 WNr ?, black <3 : pilot unknowed.

Who flew black <3 ?
And a black <4 existed ?

Thank you very much in advance,

Best regards,

Lumabe.
