Lost Bf-109G-14 with I./JG51 on 10.01.1945r

Hello.

Very, I would ask you to confirm the data plane and the pilot shot down in the area of Morag (Poland).
Initial search point to the shooting down of the plane Me109 1 / 1.Jagd.Geschw.Molders 51. The pilot was Helmut Herold, NCO born. 12/20/1924 Venice (former district Morag) No Immortelle 59741/636
Probable date of shooting down 10 .02.1945r.

However, the information posted on the Internet (http://www.historiabraniewa.hekko.pl...-braniewa-1945) concerning the activities of the Soviet and German aviation in the aera Braniewo (Poland), there is information indicating the shooting down of the plane in a place other than the specified Morag. The author points Heiligenbeil (Mamonowo today in Russia).
"Enemy aircraft, Dost, probably ordered from the earth began to flee in the direction of the Vistula Lagoon. Since the Russians ended fuel and ammunition, stopped the attack and returned to their airport. Germany admit to losing two pilots. Sergeant killed. Helmut Herold from 1. / JG51 on Bf-109G-14 (No. 785726) to the east. from Heiligenbeil. St.kpr missing in action. Helmut Weber of I. / JG51 on Bf-109G-14 (No. 464552), the place and the cause is unknown. "
There is a difference in the distance between the two villages SUCH about 60 km.

Also given other planes shot down that day in a similar area of operations:
785 726 (Helmut Herold)
785 0280
785 705

Thank you in advance for your help
Yours
Robert
