Smile Ft/Lt ASHCROFT Alfred Edward David RAFVR 112736 DFC

Hello,
I refer to the fatal crash of Mosquito MM678, implicating Pt William S. VALE and his Navigator Ft/LT ASHCROFT Alfred Edward David RAFVR 112736 DFC, both KIA on October 06th, 1944 in the Village of LINTER, formerly known as DRIESLINTER (Belgium).

I am looking for a picture of ASHCROFT (born ca 1920), son of Alfred and Edith Maud Ashcroft - Cobham, Surrey.
He served in :
- 29 Sqn: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...light=ASHCROFT ,
- 141 Sqn: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...light=ASHCROFT
- 167 Sqn: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...ighlight=MM678

Until now no picture at all of ASHCROFT is known, so my last hope is …. 12oclockhigh!!
Many thanks and greetings from Belgium,

Redcap50
