Crash site Lancaster R5844 Essen Raid 42
Hello,
I try to find out the exact crash site for Lancaster R5844 which went down on Night Raid 01./02. June 1942. P/O J.A. Worswick and Crew from No. 106 Sqn died in the Crash. Due to some Informations from a Family Member of the Crew, I know that the Lancaster were shooting down by Flak and crashed in the vicinity of Gladenbach near the City Essen. But there exist no village with this Name.... only one Gladenbach between Marburg and Gießen in the Country of "Hessen".... 130 Kilometres east of Essen.... Who can help ??? Greetings streak98
