Crew positions? Do 17P loss 01.11.1940
Hi Guy's,
I am searching for the crew positions and fates regarding a Do 17P loss at Jersey on the 01.11.1940. The aircraft's Wnr. is 4086 and one of the crew was Karl Kramer. Hope someone has the details. Regards Melvin www.aircrewremembrancesociety.co.uk |

Re: Crew positions? Do 17P loss 01.11.1940
This is what I have. Obviously one of the BMs should be Bordfunker.
1940-11-01, 2.(F)/123, Do 17 P, 4086, 4U+AK, St.Queens Bay, bei Insel Jersey, Absturz in See infolge Motorschaden. Bruch 100 %. Flugzeugführer Fw Kramer, Werner, + Beobachter Lt Göhringer, Wilhelm, + Bordmechaniker Gefr Pfiffner, Benno, + Bordmechaniker Uffz Grünmüller, Karl, + Matti |

Put Gerhard Schinkel into the search box and a previous thread on this one comes up.

Thanks very much Matti and Brian!
The Gerhard Schinkel theory is a very interesting one, as a post in the other thread states that it was a five man crew! Was he the Bordfunker? I have attached one of a number of images that were sent to me which shows one of the crew on a stretcher getting medical help! Interesting indeed!
