Re: A Ju 87 in the Balkans
Looks like a mosque in the background, so probably not in Greece?
I./St.G. 3 17 Feb 41: Ju 87 crashed on take-off from Fp.Balomir/Bulgaria, 100%, 2 KIA. 5 Apr 41: at Belica (Belitsa)/Bulgaria with 30 Ju 87Bs and 9 Ju 87Rs for the Balkan Campaign under VIII.Fliegerkorps. Apr – May 41: supported armored and motorized spearheads advancing in Greece, moving forward via Sirbani (Sirbanovo)/Bulgaria, ................. L. |

Re: A Ju 87 in the Balkans
Hi Larry, thanks
It is a mosque in the background, so it is probably Belica in Bulgaria. We have mosques in Greece, but far eastern, closer to the Turkish border. |
