Do 17 of KG 51 during the phoney war?
Gentlemen,
I came across two photos of Do 17 M or P of KG 51 with unusual unit markings 9K+FLX and 9K+ARY. At least the photo of 9K+ARY was taken after aerial combat during the phoney war or the western campaign, as this a/c made crash landing upon an airfield in western Germany. Is it possible to decipher this markings? Were these a/c used for Recce-Missions by the Geschwader- or a Gruppenstab? Regards, Heuser |
