A cover to identify
good morning all,
look at this cover, with "F5" on the top left, in red. It comes from a crash site very likely to be either Arado96 or Me109E. What do vote for ? Thanks GC Last edited by gilles collaveri; 7th July 2017 at 08:04.

Hi Gilles,
It is the Vorshaltwiderstand for the FuG VII radio equipment. These were used in the Bf109E, it was placed in the rear of the fuselage. Kind Regards

Then, it is likely that we face a Me109 , more precisely this one: 1943-12-09 1./JG 101 Bf 109E-7 977 5 rote (info Matti) thanks to all . GC
