He 111, L5+KM of KGr.z.b.V. 5 made a forced landing on 27 July 1942 near Sswatowo/Rußland. No info on the crew, which obviously was unharmed. Maybe your guys?

Also He 111 P-4, WNr. 2959, L5+KM of KGr.z.b.V. 5 (maybe the same aircraft) was destroyed at Fl.Pl. Pitomnik due to bad weather on 7 Jan 1943. The crew was killed.

Thanks Matti. Kracker Luftwaffe Achives have him as KG4 , which is why I asked because of the L5 not J5 prefix on the logbook. Could there have been personnel movements between the two units ? Or as it was Feb 45 when he went MIA would it have been anybody to units short of crews ?

KG 4 was 5J not J5. Not a cargo manifest but refers to flight numbers in the Flugbuch
