Re: ebay 09-03
You're welcome, gogh.
I think I'll hold back for a while now, and leave it to edwest2 who does an excellent job and is far more reliable than me. |

Re: ebay 09-03
I'd just say that to me No. 2 looks more like a De Havilland Rapide than a Junkers W.2 and No. 4 is a Do 217 E, not a Do 17 Z.

Re: ebay 09-03
Agreed, Nick. #2 is obviously a DH of some kind, thank you for confirming it is a Rapide.
Anyone else who would like to correct the ebay descriptions, PLEASE go ahead. Or make ANY comments about any of them. I would welcome a helpful or inquisitive response of any sort, and we would all benefit from the conversation. Over 650 people viewed my previous list of 76 ebay items and nobody thought anything was worth mentioning or asking about? It feels a bit like everyone finds it boring. For example, look at this one. http://www.ebay.de/itm/67774-Foto-Bo...-/231414650102 The yellow upper wing tips; how common was this? Together with the position of the theatre band and RLM22 night cammouflage is it an aid to identification? Last edited by sirbob; 4th September 2016 at 18:46. Reason: Add paragraph. |

Re: ebay 09-03
Hello Sirbob!
Oh no! This will never be boring! Thanks a lot for your work! Some ebay descriptions are ridiculous. I think most of the members knows this. So why correct that this is not a Ju 52 but a W 34 a hundred times? It´s always a big pleasure for me to click through your and Ed´s listings! Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben, Wolfgang |

Re: ebay 09-03
105. Very early version.
Note : Glazed nose but no stepped gun position. No cut-out in the trailing edge of the upper wing centre section. No glazing in the rear of the rear fuselage ventral step. |
