12/JG 51 10 July 1943
On the 10 Jul 43 Obfw. Hans Pfahler 12/JG 51 was shot down in Fw 190 A-5 (#2539) 100% and was listed as MIA 20 km SE of Ponyri PlQu 35 Ost/63594. My question is was Uffz. Josef Schurek 12/JG 51 flying Fw 190 A-4 (#5766) who also went MIA this day in the area of Maloarchangelsk the wingman for Pfahler? In JFV 12/II it doesn't indicate if he was or was not.
