Thanks Allan,

I will take a look...I am aware of this action just but trying to confirm whether or not Block was actually wounded on that day.

It does look likely as he was with JG 102 in March of 1945.

from my database

It's a Member of Sonderkommando Elbe

Bf 109 K4 253 shot down near Neddenaverbergen (27308)
Parachuting after ramming a B-17
The Bf 109 was found 1983
Gefr. Block Anton dob 09.03.1924

I have this Bf 109K-4 as WNr 334253 and the nameless pilot as killed?
