SES,

Thanks a million! Now I "just" have to get the name of the (possible Croatian) pilot. I got all the info about 2/Nachtschlachtgruppe 7 from Michael Holms exelent site.

Heja Danmark!

Everything I've found about it indicates that NSG 7 was an all-German outfit, operating over the former Yugoslavia (and later one Staffel from Graz in Austria). There were Croatian AF units in action over Croatia as well, of course.

If you can make out anything of the name at all, do post it here - it's possible that someone can fill in the gaps.

Re: Help with a feldpost number

Thank you Nick,

I have during the hours since my first post used google and whatever I could think of. Yes, I have relized that the pilot was propably German and the the possible aircraft flewn was the HS126.

I will let you know if I find anything, right now it looks like the name ends with ..ber or ..ger, still haven't figured out how many letters in the name, it IS faint!

Again, Thanks to you both

Peter

Re: Help with a feldpost number

Time for bed, eyes are bleeding.

What I can can get it is, LEBER, HEBER or PEBER, perhaps EBER. some of these names match LW pilots but no reference to NSGr 7.

I'll try to get some second opinions. It would be real nice to find out who wore it.

Good night!
