Said he was , but this is what he told a young girl who's family he work for on the farm as a POW and stayed on afterwards. She was just after details , he's been dead quite a while now. All he said was he was Luftwaffe , a gunner and had been shot down early stages of the war and had the EK2. I've looked in the usual places but can't find any details. Although there was a couple of Stein listed as POWs but with no initials. Thanks Chris
