RAE Farnborough GD Flight

Can anyone tell me what the RAE Farnborough GD Flight was, what it did and where I can find out more? My uncle, Flt Lt Neill Cox, was posted to the flight in 1945, but that's all the info I have.

I assume GD is general duties, but that doesn't help me much!

Thanks!

Its not Gunnery Development by chance?

I cannot see the point of General Duties

Re: RAE Farnborough GD Flight

Hi

Going by the link Snautzer listed in his post the GD could refer to "Group Disbandment"

Just a thought.

Vince...

PS: Thank you Snautzer for the excellent link.
