Bf 109 Werk Nr. 5593

It is clear that Bf109 Werk Nr 5593 DH+EJ was an 'Emil' but is anyone able to confirm whether it was an E4B or an E7? I understand the types were very similar and wondered if RAF Intelligence was correct in identifying this machine as an E-4. Other records imply that 4.(Schl.)/LG 2, with which this aircraft flew, was equipped with E-7s at the time this one was lost.

Any help in resolving this little mystery would be gratefully received.

Re: Bf 109 Werk Nr. 5593

Just to explain Daniel´s and Rabe Anton´s contradictory info - both are right:
Wnr 5559 to 5600 were built by WNF, Wiener Neustadt, 32 of them were converted to E-4/B by Arado Warnemünde
