Any Halifax-experts around?
Dear all,
Who has extensive knowledge about the Handley Page Halifax bomber or knows a publication about this famous bomber, for answering following question: Which Halifaxes were equipped with overload fuel tanks? Has this been a 'field conversion' or was it a modification during the production process? Air Britain's The Halifax File doesn't mention any details... Many thanks in advance, Marcel

Ken Merrick's The Handley Page Halifax might have the answers. Haynes have just published a book on the Halifax
