Horst Petzschler autograph with a 5/28/44 date?
Hey guys,
I receently found a 30mm Mk108 shell that was signed by Horst Petzschler post war. The odd thing is that he signed it as: Horst Petzschler JG3 5/28/44 Magdeburg Though I know he was shot down once on this date...I cannot see any reason for him to mention this date. I know it was the last day he was with JG3, before getting re-assigned...so that is the only reason I can think of. Does anyone know of any events where he maybe signed his autograph this way? Maybe some sort of JG3 reunion?
