SchG2 or SKG10 in Tunisia April 1943

Can anyone give me an idea of how many of the Fw190s of these units were lost in air combat in April 1943? And the dates?

regards

Keith

I'd suggest reading Arthy/Jessen "The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in North Africa" for a comprehensive picture.

Its a good point Nick but if I bought a book for every query I had ( I have a couple of yours) then my loft, spare room, living room and bedroom would be much more spacious than they are. As it is I shall have to live in ignorance... that said it is a very good work based on the Amazon reviews so I may take the hit....

Been there, done that, donated the overflow to Oxfam and started all over again!

Merci Laurent.

Ça répond à ma question. Je cherche le victoire de Chris Le Roux contre un Fw190 "jabo" 04.04.43, malheureusement ce n'est pas un du SchG2 ou SKG10 ou JG2 ou...

According to the book "Mediterranean Air War vol 3", this claim was made on 3rd April, not on the 4th.

The book "The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in North Africa" confirms the data of the 3rd and describes the action as a raid by 14 Fw 190s of III./SKG 10 escorted by II./JG 53. The latter fought an inconclusive battle with Spitifires while two Fw 190s were slightly damaged by ground fire according to German data. None were lost.
