January 5th 1945 RAF Mustang Escort

Hi,

Looking to establish what RAF Mustang squadrons were engaged with Bf109 on this date while escorting 160 Lancaster's to Ludwigshafen. 3 Group reports two Bf109 were shot down by RAF Mustangs. Would like to confirm and identify any claims by the escort on this date.
