Stabstaffel /Kampfgeschwader 26
Hello,
Iam trying to find out the rest of the crew who served with this airgunner- Heinrich Oberuber who was shot down on the 11.3.42, I know this squadron was used in Anti shipping duties could it be he was shot down by anti-aircraft fire or aircraft any help is appriciated. Steven.

The QM 6 has the following information: 11 March 1942: He 111 H-6 "1H +CA" (W.Nr. 4379) of Stabsstaffel/KG 26 flown by Leutnant Johann Greil (F), Feldwebel Heinrich Obergrüber (B), Obergefreiter Gustav Koppe (Bf) and Obergefrieter Johann Steinwänder (Bs), all missing, crashed over sea near Stavanger, 100% I hope that this helps.
