B-26 crew prisoners of war

My name is Ron Bolesta. I am on the Board of Directors of the B-26 Marauder Historical Society.
I recently completed a 600 hour research project to isolate of the 145,000 American POWs in WWII which POWs were B-26 Marauder crewmembers. I have now developed a webpage for our membership and general public to access that data collected. The web site is B26pows.com
• One of the items on my "to do" list is to expand that database with individuals who also were B-26 POWS from other allied air forces. I see that the South African Air Force , Free French Air Force , had some units that flew combat missions with the B-26.
Do you have any information that might help identify POWs from those Air Forces?
I already have the Royal Air Force POWs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ron,

I understand that research is time consuming. Since you have the Americans and RAF covered, below is a list of the squadrons of the two other countries that operated the B-26.

French Air Force

All six squadrons below were operating under command of 42d Bombardment Wing of the US Twelfth Air Force.

31e escadre
GBM 1/19 Gascogne
GBM 2/20 Bretagne
GBM 1/22 Maroc
34e escadre
GBM 1/32 Bourgogne
GBM 2/52 Franche-Comté
GBM 2/63 Sénégal

South African Air Force

3rd Wing, North African Air Forces
12 Squadron, North African Air Forces
21 Squadron, North African Air Forces
24 Squadron, North African Air Forces
25 Squadron, Balkan Air Force
30 Squadron, North African Air Forces

Best,
Ed
