"ROOSTER" procedure
I've seen several references to this procedure being used in the Mediterranean to home a strike force (air or naval) on to shipping targets located by RAF shadowing aircraft. The trouble is, everything I've read assumes that the reader already knows how it worked.
So was ROOSTER a radio transmitter, radar reflector, transponder or … what? Thanks in advance. |
