Capt N H Lindsay 24 July 1943 claimed He 115
In Chris Shores A History of the Mediterranean Air War, 1940-1945. Volume 4: he mentions that Lindsay and Petry had miss identified the Luftwaffe aircraft
Does any one know what it was ? Kind regards Andy Bird

Its the Nucleo Ala Littoria Z.506B MM60644 I-DIVO, ditched S Bastia, Ten Angelo Ricucci, Mllo Amedeo Palladino, 2 crew 13 passengers rescued, raido operator Mllo Giulio Battistoni KiA. I assume you dont actually have a copy of MAW 4, as this is mentioned on the text and in the Casuaty listings on p 241 and 242? Cheers Russell One of the MAW team, which is working very hard on Vol 5.

Thanks Russell, saw a piece on google saying it wasn't a He 115, so really appreciated, as Amberley pushing for me to finish 'Beaufighter'
