Piaggio P108B in Luftwaffe service

Does anyone have more information on this topic?

I found this:

http://www.comandosupremo.com/P108.html
Surprising that such machines were used as transport in the evacuation of the Crimea in 4'44.
At least some of the info given there is strange as Luftflotte 2 was not on the Eastern Front.

Additionally I found that:
Transp.Fl.Staffel 5 had 8 "Piaggio" in 1'44, 3 of them "new from factory".

Anyway: Who knows more? I am curious!
