I./KG3 at Rennes, France??

Does anyone know if I./KG 3 was ever based at Rennes, France, presumably during the French Campaign of May-June, 1940? I know that by the Battle of Britain they were based at Le Culot.

Thanx,

Re: I./KG3 at Rennes, France? Disregard, this refers to I./KG76

I was mistaken. The unit in question is I./KG 76, NOT I./KG 3. I'm trying to determine if I./KG 76 was based at or near Rennes, France anytime during the spring or summer of 1940.

Thanx,

J-B Frappé's 'la Luftwaffe attaque à l'ouest' mentions only Beauvais, Creil and Cormeilles for Gruppen of KG 76

Hi,

To my knowledge KG 76 did not come to Rennes, not of trace to Brittany either.

Which are information which claims a presence in May and June 1940 ?

Dan
