Luftwaffe bomber losses on 11th June 1944
Hi,
Did the Luftwaffe suffer any losses over Normandy on the 11th June 1944? I am especially interested in any KG54 losses over Normandy on that day. Thanks Rick

I only have one loss from KG 54:
Ju 88 A-4 WNr 5882 B3+AH near CHAILLEVOIS, SW of Laon. FF Lt Werner Tiling wounded BO Uffz Kurt Gumpold KIA BF Uffz Karl Lötz KIA https://www.ebay.de/itm/Sterbebild-W...4/174076551891 BM Ogefr Karl-Heinz Grossmann wounded

No, but their target was the landings in Normandy. Not sure if they were shot down on the way over there or on their way back.
