Unknown pilot from Melbourne Australia nov/dec 1943. near Dubrovnik

Hello all
I just got back from archive and found very interesting article in old news papers.
Daily News Dubrovnik 10th December 1943. (No.20. page 2)

“Dubrovnik - corpse in the sea”
quote "In the sea, not far from port of Molunat near Konavle coast fisherman found two days ago one corpse. Beside pilot suit deceased had rubber west filled with air. It was concluded that body could be of a pilot (airmen). Upon inspection of his documents it was concluded that it was English airman born in Melbourne (Australia). It was suggested that he was pilot of an aircraft shot on Monday 29.11.1943. by the German forces near Dubrovnik (referring to 29.11.1943. Lt Macdonald - POW).
People saw parachute open on that day but it cannot be confirmed that this is the same person." (exact translation)

Port of Molunat is 20 miles SE of Dubrovnik, 5 miles W of Kotor bay, aprox. 80 miles NW from coast of Albania.
It is open sea with no mayor island, current in this area is SE to NW (from Albania to Croatia) but it can be dependent of weather and winds as well, so It could be other way around.

Is it possible to identify this pilot, I am not familiar with Australian pilots (in RAF possibly).
as always thanks in advance
Antun
