18 Sqn loss 21/03/40
Hi,
Anyone have details of an 18 Sqn loss on above date? Sgt Oliver William Dumbreck was lost on this date, although I'm not sure if it was an operational or non-operational loss. Any help appreciated. Alex

Good evening,
According to Bomber Command Losses Vol 1 by W.R Chorley: 18 Sqn Blenheim I L1427 WV- Ferry: P/O H.S.P Hulton. Killed. Sgt O.W Dumbreck. Killed. LAC Oultram; Injured. Cpl G.E Lapwood. Injured. T/O 0800 Rosières-en-Santerre bound for Kemble via Tangmere. Crashed into fog shrouded hill near Chichester, Sussex. Best regards. Bernard.
