Hs 126 GQ+AR - What Unit - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

I am trying to identify the unit for a Henschel Hs 126 that appears to have the codes GQ+AR (see photo). Are these unit or factory delivery codes?

Hello Peter,

stammkennzeichen.de has the machine serving with 3./ENAGr in 1943 having previously been based at Rechlin November 1940 to January 1942. Whether the machine is shown while serving with those units I can't say, though onee might have thought 3./ENAGr more likely given that the MG is mounted perhaps?

Hi Peter,

No problem, I was using the Stammkennzeichen.de database to look up the Bf 109G-6 in the thread below this at the time you posted. I still feel it would be good if other board members could come up with something more definite for you with regard to the unit and date.
